About Me

I am Ashleigh, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Midwife, Registered Nurse, and NDC-accredited practitioner. I hold a Cert IV in Breastfeeding Education and a Diploma in Breastfeeding Management. 

I am also a wife, a mother to six, and a long-term breastfeeder.

My passion is all things breastfeeding, and after realising how little support was out there when I was feeding my first little ones, this is where my drive to acknowledge, promote, and protect breastfeeding came from.

I have personally fed through engorgement, breast inflammation, mastitis, painful latches, low supply, having a FTT infant, returning to work with the need to express, and bottle refusal. My struggles and lack of support are what drove me to my love of lactation and the desire to help breastfeeding families.

I am here for you and the women of our community to support and guide you in reaching your breastfeeding goals.

I hear so many mothers claiming that if only they had had the right support, then things may have been different.

This is where I come in, with the hope of being able to fill that gap in our community and improve the health services available to our rural women and beyond.
